Established to Drive TTU's External Mission
The International Programmes and External Linkages Office (IPELO) of Takoradi Technical University (TTU) is established to ensure that the institution's external mission is realized. IPELO facilitates national and international collaborations and develops partnerships with both local and foreign private and public institutions and organizations.
The office operates under the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and is headed by a Director of professorial rank, supported by a dedicated team of administrative and academic professionals.
Encourages and supports departments and staff in international projects and scholarly pursuits
Increases the number of international students, visiting scholars and TTU staff on exchange programmes
Seeks international projects, collaboration/partnerships and sponsorship for TTU facilities
Develops appropriate centres and academic programmes with intercultural and interdisciplinary perspectives

Our History
TTU Established
Takoradi Polytechnic converted to Takoradi Technical University by government policy.
IPELO Launched
International Programmes and External Linkages Office formally established under the VC's Office. First Erasmus+ project won with Germany and Hungary.
First Exchange Students
Four TTU students successfully completed Erasmus+ exchange programmes in Germany and Hungary.
DUT Partnership
MOU signed with Durban University of Technology (South Africa) for PhD and Masters programmes. 44 staff enrolled.
Amalitech Hub
Tenancy agreement signed with Amalitech for 400M² digital training hub at TTU Annan Block.
Sustainable Fashion Project
Collaboration with AMD Fresenius University (Germany) and SE-Hub launched for sustainable fashion innovation.
DUT Delegation Visit
High-level DUT delegation visits TTU, reaffirming strong partnership and expanding collaboration scope.
