Durban University of Technology

TTU has signed an MOU with DUT for PhD and Masters programmes for TTU academic staff. This is TTU's largest staff development initiative, with 44 staff enrolled in Business field PhD programmes. Expansion to Applied Arts and ICT is underway.

In March 2025, a high-level DUT delegation visited TTU for engagement with the Vice-Chancellor, reaffirming and expanding the partnership scope.

Erasmus Exchange
2019First Win

Erasmus+ Mobility Programmes

TTU won Erasmus+ staff and student mobility projects with universities in Germany and Hungary in 2019. Four students successfully completed exchanges in February 2020. A new Erasmus project for the energy sector was also won.

The Erasmus+ programme, funded by the EU, enables TTU students and staff to study, train, and work at partner European institutions, bringing global academic exposure to TTU's community.
